The residence periodically invites guests for informal get-togethers and seminars about their professional lives, academic experiences and cultural topics.

Language exchange clubs and workshops with native speakers of 4 different languages (Japanese, English, Spanish and Portuguese) are held throughout the year.

Those who wish can join our athletic activities. Our soccer club practices twice a month at a nearby playing field, and has more than 25 members from different countries and parts of Japan. Hiking and other excursions are also promoted.

Since its foundation Seido has organized trips to other parts of Japan, university conferences in Europe and trips to other countries.

Once a year we organize a volunteer Work Camp in poor villages of developing countries, in order to contribute to the human development of the visited regions and also promote the spirit of solidarity in the students.

Throughout the year visits to nursing homes and caring for sick people help them to learn about generosity and spirit of service to others.

Complementing the human formation, informal musical presentations are frequently held by the students, aiming at entertainment and the development of abilities of communication, sociability and artistic sensibility .

Extracurricular activities and summer camps for primary and middle school students are organized by high-school and university students.
